Very good chicken here! My only complaint is we waited 20 minutes after ordering our food, and no one else was in the restaurant. BUT maybe it took longer because of how fresh and made to order the food was. Great quality and the side sauces were delicious! Beware of the spice levels though, the hot level is pretty hot. Not like other hot chicken places.
Came here to get my Vegan Chicken fix! They offer Vegan & Non-Vegan Options, sides, Stubborn Brand Sodas (which are delicious), and canned beer! Sean took care of us tonight and he was so amazing! He made suggestions, went over flavor profiles, and let us try the kale salad! This place is amazing, the vibe is always chill, but fun with an eclectic selection of music that we were all vibin' out to!
We love this place. First of all, the food is super flavorful. That's my jam for sure. Hot Nashville Mac is my favorite. Hubby gets the hot honey sandwich. So good. I love coming here. The staff is super friendly and even when we don't come for a while, they remember us and welcome us back. They've got pretty good music playing all the time and a nice minimalistic aesthetic. Comfy. Not overdosed with chairs. It's a small restaurant but they have a good amount of seats for the available space. This place stays busy. Expect a wait for your food. They get a lot of online orders so you might be waiting a few even if you're the only person in the restaurant. Either way, it's worth it. Give it a try!
HEAR ME OUT: looking for an experience that you'll be sure to remember? This place can provide you that. The thin napkins, you'll need lots. The tiny water cups, you'll be refilling those a number of times. The bumping music, you'll be dancing as you eat. And the chicken, the chicken might just have you sweating, crying, and gasping for air. All that to say, i yummy. But we wish we had felt more aware of how HOT the medium chicken was going to be. Did not like the mac and cheese.
First time here, and what was I thinking? huhu so good but I can't enjoy a good Hella spicy sandwich without getting heartburn thanks to this pregnancy haha. I'll be back once I pooped out this bebe in my tummy so I can enjoy the food without worrying and also, so I can finally try the spiciest level they have because seriously, I've only tried the "hot" level and I'm already crying!

Literally my favorite restaurant in Peoria, the vegan menu here is soooo good. My second time coming, I had the vegan hot honey which was incredible, and the sandwiches come with fries now which are also top notch. The service here is amazing, the lady taking our order was so friendly and gave my little sister her lemonade for free. I also asked on Yelp whether the vegan hot honey sauce had real honey, and got a response within minutes that it does not- they use agave. My younger siblings enjoyed the kids meal. Inside dining area and bathrooms are all extremely clean.
Review #1000!!!! I am so happy it is Twist Hot Chicken! The are running specials on Facebook and I had to try this. Their Vegan fare is as delicious as their chicken. The sauces we tried were superb. Crispy, saucy, colorful slaw and the fries are seasoned so yummy! Their Seasonal lemonade is Witch's Brew which was tangy and refreshing. Refills are $.99. The best part of the meal was the Beignets or Cronuts. Hot, pull apart goodness, with powdered sugar and strawberry jam. They will give you honey if you ask! We had the best meal there! Hot chicken is all the rage right now with many restaurants popping up everywhere. What makes Twist unique is that they offer a Vegan Hot Chicken sandwich as well as Vegan Macaroni Salad. Please insert the meme here from Futurama where Bender exclaims, " Take my money" It was awesome and amazing. I had the hot level and probably could have tried the next level up, Maybe next time. They also had a Yelp Check In reward. Overall super impressed and I could eat that Vegan Hot Chicken once a week.
